Adventure Lab awarded at Laval Virtual

About
Dates: 4-6.04.2018
Founded in 1999, Laval Virtual is a reference show in the fields of new technologies and the use of immersive media. The fair showcases over 300 exhibitors, and welcomes over 17’000 visitors each year in Laval (France).
Supported by an international jury of specialists, the Laval Virtual Awards are a unique competition in this field. They label the highly technical nature of the award-winning projects and give them a large media coverage.
Sierre-based Adventure Lab got distinguished with the Best AR Content. Their Adventure Mat is an edutainment play mat associated with an application in augmented reality. Designed for children aged from 6 to 12, the Adventures-Mat offers a new learning and entertainment tool for schools and parents. Logic, science and discovery games are then easily accessible using a tablet or smartphone. Its CEO, Thomas Crausaz, a video games veteran with a long career in the UK, was opening 2011 the «GameArt» department at EPAC in Saxon, together with Antoine Widmer, AR specialist from the Wallis HES-SO.
