Ludicious Business Accelerator 2019: Projects announced

The Ludicious Business Accelerator is a programme of Ludicious – Zürich Game Festival since 2016. The participating studios are trained by leading business coaches and experts from the game industry. The projects selected for the Ludicious Business Accelerator Programme are also part of the Ludicious Festival exhibition, during which developers can present their games to conference guests and general audience.

The selected projects for the Business Accelerator 2019 are:

  • «Between the Lines» by Ayane Stämpfli, Zurich, ZH
  • «Dark Matters» by Severin Walker, Zurich, ZH
  • «Derailed!» by Indoor Astronaut GmbH, Möriken, AG
  • «Empire of Shadows» by Digital Shrine, Zurich, ZH
  • «Legends of Cycladia – Blade of Darkonia» by Karios Games Sàrl, Geneva
  • «SNB19 (working title)» by Randerline AG & Inside Labs AG, Laax, GR
  • «Soup Raiders» by Team Kwakwa, Lausanne, VD
  • «That Failed Bank Robbery» by Simone Guggiari, Zurich, ZH
  • «Untitled Project (TBA)» by Blindflug Studios, Zurich, ZH

The jury evaluated the submitted projects in the categories of gameplay, commercial potential and entrepreneurial objectives of the teams. The evaluation also included the extent to which the games are suitable for being exhibited at the next edition of Ludicous. The high quality standard of the submissions impressed the jury. The jury finally chose nine projects with a particularly high potential. The jury consisted of:

Upcoming maintenance work

The application portal myprohelvetia will be updated from 1.1.-7.1.2024. Due to these changes, open applications must be finalized and submitted via the current online portal (myprohelvetia.ch) by the latest 23:59 on 31 December 2023. Until this date, the deadlines and criteria outlined in the current guidelines and calls for applications apply. New applications can be created and submitted in the application portal as of 8 January 2024.
