Sensoryx is based in Zürich and was founded by alumni of ETH and HSG. They develop state-of-the-art wearable sensor systems that not only capture every movement of its wearer with utmost precision in real-time, but also without using external references (stationary cameras or laser beacons).

Sensoryx is taking part to the SwissGames delegation to GDC 2019 where they will present «VRfree®» – the first mobile VR/AR hand- and fingertracking system with fully integrated 3D-positioning.

«VRfree®» consists of a pair of lightweight, fingertipless gloves and a HMD mount that you clip onto your headmounted device (compatible with all major HMD: GearVR, Daydream, Oculus, HTC Vive, Fove or similar). It is the only controller that offers its own full 3D mobile hand- and finger tracking without requiring cables or external references. The combination of complementary sensor types eliminates drift, increases precision and avoids occlusion, which enables the user to interact naturally and freely with VR to enjoy a superior immersion experience.
