vrbn studios – 3d urban environments for games

With their innovative technology vrbn studios provides a realistic environment for games.

Matthias Bühler founded vrbn (pronounced «urban») studios in 2017. They are specialized in creating 3d buildings for games, VFX (visual effects), simulation, automotive and historic reconstructions projects. vrbn studios are combining their knowledge and experience from backgrounds as architecture, urban planning, game development to create an authentic urban scene with the software CityEngine. In 2018 vrbn studios were awarded at the Esri partner conference for creating realistic context. Read more about vrbn in their latest press release.

vrbn studios are part of the SwissGames delegation to the Nordic Game Conference (22-24 May 2019) in Malmö. In collaboration with the Embassy of Switzerland in Sweden 7 swiss studios were selected to showcase their games and technologies at the SwissGames booth, and they have the opportunity to take part in the MeetToMatch matchmaking platform.

Upcoming maintenance work

The application portal myprohelvetia will be updated from 1.1.-7.1.2024. Due to these changes, open applications must be finalized and submitted via the current online portal (myprohelvetia.ch) by the latest 23:59 on 31 December 2023. Until this date, the deadlines and criteria outlined in the current guidelines and calls for applications apply. New applications can be created and submitted in the application portal as of 8 January 2024.
