Geneva-based and Pro Helvetia-supported studio Kynoa attended the International Association for the Attractions Industry annual conference in Orlando (Florida) and made a big impression.
Kynoa’s «Koliseum Soccer VR» was one to stand out of the crowd by being picked in a review of the expo by American business magazine Forbes. «It’s one of the best uses of VR in a traditional arcade game I have seen» says Bob Cooney in the article. Cooney is an XR consultant specializing in LBVR and was recently a coach in Amsterdam for the Swiss studios brought at the VR Days Europe by Pro Helvetia, which Kynoa attended. Kynoa was also part of the SwissGames delegation at Gamescom last August, where Federal Councillor Alain Berset and Pro Helvetia Director Philippe Bischof tried the platform (pictured).
As its title hints, the «Koliseum Soccer VR» is a highly interactive table soccer game developed for the platform «Koliseum Series». It will soon be followed by an ice hockey game.
