To help Swiss indie studios build relationships with the international game industry and access global markets, SwissGames organizes delegations to the leading game events. In 2020, SwissGames is offering the oportunity to Swiss game developers to take part to Nordic Game Conference and Gamescom.
Taking place each year in May in Malmö, Nordic Game Conference is a leading event for game developers and executives. It addition to a world-class speaker programme, workshops and round-table discussions, the event offers a MeetToMatch business matchmaking system. One of the most valuable parts of the Nordic experience is its atmosphere, allowing developers and industry people to meet in smaller scale.
The SwissGames pavilion in Gamescom is the largest delegation organisation of the year. With over 370,000 visitors and 1000 exhibitors, Gamescom is undisputedly the largest European trade fair for video games. Parallel to Gamescom, Devcom is a game developers event, a prestigious five-day umbrella framework for a series of events focused around game development, game publishing, networking and community building. Situated in the Business area, the Swissgames pavilion spreads over more the 100 square meters. In 2019, the SwissGames pavilion was officially inaugurated by Federal Councillor Alain Berset.
