To contribute to the development of digital creativity, the Canton of Vaud launched a first call for projects in the field of video games in spring 2019. The Service des affaires culturelles (SERAC), the cultural affairs department, is launching a second call for projects in the field of video games. With a budget of CHF 50,000, it aims to support creation and production in the canton. Online applications will be open from Wednesday 15 July to Sunday 30 August 2020.
As in 2019, it aims to support video game creation projects that stand out for their originality and technical innovation, artistic creativity (game design, graphic/sound design, narration), marketing strategy and economic potential. The approach is designed to support one or more projects, with differentiated means according to the phases of project advancement: pre-production, production or post-production.
The winners of the 2019 call for projects are De Pesters Design SNC, Kevin Péclet from Team KWAKWA FARHAN & Co and Naraven Games.
