The 2020 festival theme is “Games without Borders” and highlights that games should be as accessible and barrier-free as possible: fun to play despite physical or psychological backgrounds.
During these 4 days, Play Bern invites anyone interested, regardless of age or knowledge of games to play, give a try and discuss. The festival also gives voice to projects in the fields of art, culture and education.
Pro Helvetia supports the 24-Hour Game Jam, a workshop designed for kids from 12 years old and a talk on gaming with reduced mobility by Stefan Schmidlin.
