Nordic Game Conference 2024

The next international SwissGames delegation will bring Swiss game studios to Nordic Game Conference in Malmö, Sweden. Nordic Game is the leading game conference in Northern Europe. Besides being a meeting place for the highly successful game developers of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden, it is a good place to meet business people from the game industry at a smaller and a more intimate venue. Nordic Game is B2B event about matchmaking, networking and promoting your game and technology.

Thanks to a unique collaboration with the Trade Point Nordics this year the Swiss delegation will benefit from additional formats as a networking event.

Pro Helvetia is launching a call for participation to all Swiss companies and indies eager to present their product. Up to ten studios will be supported by Pro Helvetia and will benefit from the following services:

  • Exhibition space (optional)
  • Professional passes for the exhibition and the conference
  • Full access to the matchmaking platform, networking events, speaker program and expo
  • Financial support for accommodation & travel expenses (1000chf/studio, without exhibition space: 500chf/studio)

Reboot Develop Blue 2024

The next international SwissGames delegation will bring Swiss game studios to Reboot Develop Blue, Dubrovnik, Croatia. Reboot Develop Blue, the boutique games developers and games industry conference of Europe will be taking place in the legendary historical seaside city of Dubrovnik and is your access point to Eastern Europe and to executive people from the industry.

You can also apply for the package without an exhibition space. Up to three studios will be supported by Pro Helvetia and will benefit from the following services:

  • A SwissGames exhibition space (optional)
  • Professional passes for the exhibition and the conference
  • Full access to the matchmaking platform
  • Financial support for accommodation & travel expenses (1000chf/studio, 500chf without exhibition space)

Application dossier, eligibility criteria and other info

The application dossier should include:

  • A short description of your game(s) outlining the platform, type, genre, gameplay, targeted audience and current development stage (prototype required)
  • Visual material (playable demo, walkthrough, screenshots, link to a trailer, etc.)
  • Your expectations and goals for participating in the fairs
  • A press kit
  • Your contact details and any relevant links (website, etc.)

Eligibility criteria:

  • These calls are aimed at interactive content designed for computers, mobile phones, tablets, game consoles, virtual reality headsets or similar devices, and any other type of digital content requiring a high degree of interaction from the user.
  • The project possesses formal and design quality, a high degree of innovation and potential marketability.
  • Project execution must meet professional standards.
  • The principal project owner must be of Swiss nationality or resident in Switzerland.
  • The applicant owns copyright and rights of use of the project.
  • Applicants may submit projects up to seven years after their graduation or within the first seven years of establishing a company (latest year of establishment: 2017).

Upcoming maintenance work

The application portal myprohelvetia will be updated from 1.1.-7.1.2024. Due to these changes, open applications must be finalized and submitted via the current online portal (myprohelvetia.ch) by the latest 23:59 on 31 December 2023. Until this date, the deadlines and criteria outlined in the current guidelines and calls for applications apply. New applications can be created and submitted in the application portal as of 8 January 2024.
